Our Yunnan Dian Hong Golden Buds is grown in a biodiverse and exceptionally well-managed organic tea garden in Wa Shan, a lush mountainous region of southwestern Yunnan named after the Wa ethnic minority group who have farmed in this area for centuries.
Traditional Tea Preparation
Add 5g to a gaiwan or gongfu teapot (per 150ml). Don’t rinse this tea. Use water cooled to 200°F. Infuse the 1st brew for 3 minutes. Repeat several times until the flavor and aroma of the tea dissipates. As the brewing session ensues, increase the infusion time to coax out the body and strength of the final infusions.
